Over the years, Anna has worked in many different places on many different projects and continues to pursue a life outside theatre that includes everything from photography to selling vintage clothes and even trading at artisan food markets. Listed below are details of just some of the experiences that have led Anna to where she is today.
Resident Art Monk – In 2010 Anna moved to Italy to be part of an artist’s community, The Art Monastery Project. There she worked to improve the project’s facilities by painting walls, building beds and planting gardens, as well as working as an assistant to the Artistic Director, stage-managing one of the project’s summer tours, and performing with the company in their summer theatre programme.
Front of House Manager – Before her training, Anna had worked in many different roles Front of House, including a season at The Edinburgh Fringe, but between drama school and university she worked as the Front of House Manager for the Headington Theatre in Oxford.
Teacher – Anna has been teaching drama, singing and dance to children for over seven years. This includes work with organisations such as Stagecoach Theatre Arts, Anjali Dance, CREATE and Oxfordshire County Council’s Outreach Programme. Anna also runs private vocal coaching classes for children and young people.
Activity Instructor – In 2009 Anna worked as an Activity Instructor and Group Leader for PGL Adventure Holidays; training in climbing, abseiling, quad biking, lifeguarding and body boarding. She has also worked as a zorbing instructor for the Zorb Zone.
